Termodinamica has created an innovative fully integrated Marine HVAC solution to solve the inefficiencies of traditional marine HVAC with the innovative inverter compressor and Direct Expansion system.

Termodinamica utilizes the innovative inverter compressor with twin rotary architecture for marine air conditioning.
This compressor operates at variable speeds ranging from 600-6000 rpm to meet the instantaneous power demand without wasting energy. 

Termodinamica’s direct expansion systems with VRV architecture feature a single condensing unit and multiple air handlers with a single 2 pipes refrigerant line. This technology is covered by a worldwide patent owned by Termodinamica and delivers exceptional performance.

The VRV system achieves EER and COP values (Energy Efficiency Ratio and Coefficient Of Performance W/W) of up to 8. This means that a 100ft yacht can be conditioned with a max power source of 9kw, compared to 25kw required by a standard water chiller, and only 2 kw when the boat is at temperature during summer. 

Advanced electronic management enables the VRV system to manage working temperatures of each air handler within a wide range of -15°C (5°F) to 18°C(65°F) in cooling, and 20°C(68°F) to 55°C(130°F) in heating.

This is achieved through continuous variation of working temperature according to the required capacity.
